Privacy policy

Last updated 2026-10-11 · Bliks Trade Manager

1. What we collect

  • Account data: e-mail address, name, optional company, country and phone, password (stored only as a strong one-way hash).
  • Licence and device data: which package you have, when it expires, and for each computer running Bliks a hashed machine identifier, the computer name, the app version, the last seen time and IP address. This enforces activation limits and lets you sign devices out from your dashboard.
  • Order data: what you bought, when, the amount and the payment method, plus the reference our payment processor returns.
  • Support data: messages you send through the contact form or from inside the app.
  • Technical data: server logs with IP addresses, request times and errors, kept for security and troubleshooting.

2. What we do not collect

We never see or store your card numbers, bank details or crypto wallet keys; payments are handled entirely by the payment processor you choose (for example Stripe, Cryptomus or Binance Pay), under their own privacy policies. We do not collect your broker login, trading passwords, account balances or trade history: Bliks talks to your MetaTrader 5 terminal locally on your computer and that data does not leave it. The free trial requires no payment information at all.

3. Why we use your data

To create and secure your account, issue and verify licences, deliver downloads and updates, relay the economic calendar to the app, process orders and send the related e-mails (verification code, welcome, order and licence confirmations), answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. The legal bases are the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a secure service, and your consent where required.

4. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform: payment processors (order amount, order number and your e-mail for receipts), our e-mail delivery provider, and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Cookies

The website uses only strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a CSRF cookie that protects forms. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Retention

Account, licence and order records are kept while your account exists and for as long as tax and accounting rules require afterwards. Device records are removed when you sign a device out. Server logs are rotated after a short period.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile and sign out devices from your dashboard at any time. You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to a processing, by using the contact page; we answer within the time the applicable law allows. Deleting an account ends any remaining licence period without refund.

8. Security

Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, API tokens are stored hashed, and licences are digitally signed. No system is perfectly secure; keep your password private and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse of your account.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the current version is always published here. Contact us through the contact page with any privacy question.
